Sensory receptors are all over the body especially the skin.
The skin is called the Integumentary system of the body, it is responsible for protecting muscles, bones, and vital organs inside the body. It serves as a covering that is composed of two layers the Epidermis (outermost layer) and the Dermis (inner layer). They provide the necessary impulses for temperature control in the body through the different nerves and receptors.
